Alejma’a Alarabi Bank has complained today that the Central Bank (CBL) of Libya is intentionally stopping its provision for Letter of Credits (LC), a source in the bank reported
“The central bank has no legal basis for stopping our tights for obtaining Letter of Credits,” he said
“Central Bank has assigned for us during the last three years 228 million of Dollars, the same as other commercial banks, but actually we have instead received 18 million of Dollars only which is completely insufficient for our client’s needs,” he explained
Alejma’a Alarabi Bank also has accused the central bank of being racist in dealing with them because its headquarters is in Benghazi which gives a political background about why the central bank is doing this
