LAICO denies the storming to its HQ’s in Tunisia
Libyan African Investment Co. (LAICO) has denied today the circulating news about storming its headquarters in Tunis the capital by a certain group
LAICO has clarified in a statement that what happened was in accordance to some legal procedures
“Chairman of the company and its managing director have appealed to the Tunisian courts against the newly board of directors appointed by the Presidency Council (PC) which their assigning has been frozen by the Libyan courts,” it stated
“Thus, newly appointed board of directors has no legal status,” it added
The company’s statement explained that what happened today was an action taken by the Tunisian authorities in order to hand it over to the legitimate side
