Libyan Customs accused Tunisian coastal guards of piracy
Libyan customs have accused the Tunisian coastal guards of doing piracy actions when the latter has taken the ship “ct -spr-ytrogg ” from the Libyan water and directed it to the Tunisian port of Radas
A source at the Libyan Customs has informed SADA
The ship’s route, according to the Libyan customs is China – Tripoli through transit in Malta. But the Tunisian have forced it to land at Radas port. There, they have captured five containers from the shipments on the ship
It was stated that containers were consisting of shoes
The Libyan side has rebutted the Tunisian claims that they have captured the containers because it consisted of smuggled products
“All shipments are with proper documents including the Bill of Ladings,” it stated
The Libya customs has considered this as a clear violation to the sovereignty of Libya and against law since it is a piracy action
